7/31 - The big shower!!

so all the preparation for Kathy's baby shower was a success. She loved her diaper cake and gift very much and i got to spend time with some of my favorite people....disney brides. Sometimes I jsut can't help but feel so blessed that these girls came into my life

8/7 - pat v tree

We did some damage today to our yard...wish we had more days to get this stuff done.
Pat tore out 2 stumps using a good old nylon rope and a truck bumper

8/1 - hello August

the hot days of summer are upon us.....Lilo gets a break from heat with her favorite thing....hose time

proud of myself with this one!!!  i made my own set of PECS art supply cards for my students to match in September

8/6 - a struggle

this sat for so long with nothing on the top half...and then one day after months of sitting i found something to go there

8/8 - puppy playdate

the cousins got some much needed playtime today!!

8/10 - art

i am still working on developing my artwork this summer.  I dont think its good at all but im enjoying it a great deal

8/13 - off to see a mouse

oh yea we went again.  a super short weekend trip for a big event

so its almost time for me to reveal that project i have been working on for like 2 months.
And it does have something to do with a certain baby shower.  aren't this invitations cute?

well the cake is now officially done!!! and the waiting game begins.
I love this thing so much....gonna be hard to take it apart i think

Today was out 4 year anniversary.  We ordered in and got ready for our weekeend away.

7/13 - classic Disney

today i started to get the gift in order...i placed the Dumbo themes items in a cute little basket I found.
i adore how this came out and am now obesessed with little Dumbo

7/12 - creation

so since the big event has passed i can post now all i want But on the 12 th i was still making big decision with my super special project i was working on.  A Diaper Cake fit for a mouseketeer. :)

7/11 - early delivery!!!!

my friend Vanessa had her little baby Boy Logan a full month early today!!! love days with great news from friends :)

7/10 - Toy Story 3

not a great picture but  it's what i had.
Saw toy story 3 in 3D and loved it.  Possibly the best out of the 3.

7/9 - a special delivery

no none of the babies arrived yet but my special package from across teh pond arrived!!

a dear friend of mine ordered a special gift for my friend from the UK and had it shipped to me

today was a good day cause i got to see Andi and her little man Drew!!!

Since we were away for my Dad's big day we headed home and celebrated with dinner

for the weekend we headed up to the inlaws house in the woods.
Today was marked by a trip to a nerby lake which was honestly the most beautiful lake I've ever seen in my life

7/1 - half way there!!!!

im truly half way there!  its been 6 months since i started this project

in celebration of that......not really i just wanted to make cupcakes.  Banana nut ones for July!!

6/30 - omg omg omg

so im gonna be an aunt!!! well not really but my friend Lauren is having a baby this January!  so excited and secretly....not so secretly....hoping she/he is born on my birthday!

6/29 - a new direction

i've spent some time this week focusing on my artwork again.  every summer i come to this point.  I have never truly found out what i want to create as an artists.  i have ADD Art.  i jump around like a jumping jack.
