2/26 - Winter is definately here!

Snow day today again and with good reason!

we got a totaly of 18 plus inches I think.  this was just fridays snow.

the trees are feeling the heaviness of the snow and lots of branches and wires down all over

it took us 4 hours to help  2 neighbors dig out plus our own driveway. 
















Winter - I'm officially done with you.  see you next year

2/25 - snowicane

well that what they are calling the storm we are getting today.  winds are suppose to get really bad and we already have a ton of snow.  snow day tomorrow???? me thinks yes

2/24 - dreaming of a warmer place

this was my second good deal of the disney trip - love this bag so much but it reminds me of summer and being on a beach....notice the snow in the background.

Back to the grind today  but it was made easier by my new purchase in Disney.  I got really good deals  thanks for a cast member.  This was m favorite for $7.  love my mickey bags

Couples retreat - we watched this on vacation and finished it at home.  loved it.

2/20 - headed home

trying to get all caught up with pictures from the vacation but it took me a bit to sort through them all.

we headed home from Disney today and thats always a sad day so i only took 1 picture...lol  our hotel room key we stopped at.

disney and desserts go hand in hand with me...and continuing on my hunt to explore all their desserts I stopped in Starring Rolls bakery

2/18 - no fast passes

wait times were insane  as we knew.  But 150 minutes just blew my mind!

my new favorite traditions is drawing a character in the animation studio

and while at the Studios that day we also were chosen to participate in a scavenger hunt and we won!  loved this  certificate

i love taking pictures of backstage things...i scored a preview pictures of the flower and garden festival creations. shhhhh

Wishes at the Magic Kingdom is awesome and I've seen is so many times I can't even remember.  But what never gets old is watching others reactions especially first timers.  Love this pictures cause you can just feel the amazement some of these people had looking at the show.

2/14 - welcome home

Ever since we became DVC members 4 years ago...seeing and hearing this phrase never gets old. Disney really does feel like my home.

The hiatus was due to my trip to Florida last week.  there was no shortage of pictures this trip as I took over 500.  Actually thats a low number for me believe it or not. typically I take over 1k on a disney trip.

So the next few posts will be fast but the  selection was tough.  I tried to select teh picture that really captured the day for me and the experiences I had.

the biggest snow storm we had this year came and went.  I was lucky to be home with the hubby and dogs and just enjoyed it.

PECS stands for Picture Exchange Cards and I love them.   I use these for my intensive needs students with autism and they work great.  I just ordered a set and love them already

2/2 - LOST!!!

no one who truly knows me will be shocked to know that I have an addicitive personality and find things that I literally fall in love with.  LOST is one of those things.  Since the first episode I watched all those years ago I can't get enough.  Tuesday marked the start to its final season.  I was excited but also sad because this has filled my life for 5 years.  I love the twists and turns.  You can sure enough take a guess at what my picture on May 24th will be with its finale.

seems silly but this light is one of my absolute favorite things in my house. I LOVE IT and can stare at it.

1st month

So I wanted to update on how this how project is going.  I will admit that about half way through this month I wanted to give up....i kept looking at these pictures and thinking what on earth does a photo of a coffee cup do for anyone?  what will I care about a silly picture of broken phone in a year?

Well I'm glad I stuck with this because once I look back at the first month the answer is very clear.  For every single picture I took there is a story.  In each picture I can recall what I was doing..what I was feeling and what was going on that day. It really has met its goal and has become a visual journal of my world. That coffee cup reminded me of the 3 days where I got only 4 hours of sleep. That broken phone reminded me of how lost I was without that technology.

It might not look like a lot to most people but to me I see what my January was like...the ups and downs.

This has given me a new motivation - so that at the end of all this I can get a great glimpse at 2010.
